Four outputs, one set of numbers.
Pallets, then the truck, then the container, then the freight quote: the real order of the work, all worked out from the same order and the same catalog. Everything on this page works in the current build unless it says roadmap.
Pallet planning
From a mixed-SKU order to a pallet count and a layer-by-layer build plan.
- Order in: Cin7 Sale Quote or Sales Order PDF, or lines entered by hand in cases. Order totals are reconciled against the lines.
- Plan out: how many pallets, every layer with its height, weight and fill, a 3D view you can rotate, and a slider that builds the pallet one layer at a time.
- Hard rules: heavy at the bottom (a layer's average case at most 15% heavier than the one below), no more than ¼ of a case base over empty space, 3,000 lb per pallet, 68.9 in target height with a 3.9 in allowance to avoid opening a pallet for one layer. Light cases can drop down to fill a gap.
- Deterministic: the same order always gives the same plan. Typical orders plan in under a second.
- Build cards: one A4 page per pallet, each layer drawn from above with every case labeled.
Pallet planning uses 48×40 in (GMA) pallets today.
Truck loading
Put the planned pallets on a trailer floor and see whether the order goes in one truck, and what stops it if not.
- Trailers: 53' and 48' dry van presets. For a reefer or any other trailer, enter its inside length, width, height and door height. Preset sizes are approximate; edit them to match your equipment.
- Turned pallets: 48×40 in pallets are turned so two sit side by side across the trailer. 30 fit on the floor of a 53' van.
- Other pallet sizes: this order's pallets, or a pallet list you type in (48×40 in, 120×80 cm, 120×100 cm, 42×42 in or custom). Stackable pallets go two high when height and weight allow, heavier on the bottom.
- Weight check: total payload against the trailer's limit. It is a payload check, not an axle-weight calculation; a center-of-gravity warning shows when the load sits too far forward or back.
- Door-height check: any pallet taller than the door opening is flagged before it is placed.
- How many more fit: when the order fits, see how many more pallets the space that's left takes. When it doesn't, remove what doesn't fit from the order.
- Views: 3D, a top-down loading diagram with the center of gravity, and a printable diagram.
of the list fits in one 53' dry van: 26 of 30 pallets, 48×40 in, 60 in tall, 1,600 lb each.

Capacity readout from the current build, set in this page's type. The 42,000 lb payload is the preset for a 53' van, not a legal limit.

Container loading
Load the order into a shipping container, on pallets or as loose cases, and see how much of it one container takes.
- Containers: 20' and 40' dry, and 40' high cube, with preset inside dimensions, door heights and payloads you can edit.
- Palletized: this order's pallets or a pallet list. Stackable pallets go two high when height and weight allow.
- Floor-loaded: cases straight onto the container floor in layers, heavy cases at the bottom, no case over a gap, up to the door height.
- Capacity analysis: the share of the order that fits one container, and what runs out first: weight, floor or height.
- Change the order and recheck: remove lines that don't fit, or add cases to fill the space that's left, then run it again.

of the same 30 pallets fit in one 40' high cube: 20 of 30.
- Weight
- 32,000lb
- Weight left
- 10,000lb
- Volume free
- 50%
Engine output for the 30-pallet list above (48×40 in, 60 in tall, 1,600 lb each). At 60 in they can't stack two high under the roof, so the floor runs out before the weight does.
| Container | L × W × H (in) | Door H (in) | Payload (lb) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20' dry | 232.1 × 92.5 × 94.2 | 89.8 | 38,000 |
| 40' dry | 473.7 × 92.5 × 94.2 | 89.8 | 42,000 |
| 40' high cube | 473.7 × 92.5 × 106.2 | 101.8 | 42,000 |
Payloads are presets, not legal limits. Edit them to match the chassis and route.

Freight quotes (RFQ)
The load summary is already in the plan. Tiercube turns it into a quote request your carriers can price, then helps you pick a reply.
- Load summary: pallet count, each pallet's size and weight including the board, stackability, total weight, volume, density.
- Estimated NMFC class: from density on the 2025 NMFC density scale. The billed class depends on the commodity's NMFC item, packaging and carrier inspection, and can differ.
- Your carrier list: name, email, service area, preferred order. Kept in your browser today.
- Request email to your own carriers, in English: copy it or open it in your email app and send it from your address. Tiercube doesn't send email itself yet.
- Compare by price and transit: enter each reply's rate, transit days, validity and extra charges. Cheapest, fastest and best value are marked; best value weighs price 70% and transit 30%. Expired quotes are left out.
Roadmap: automatic sending, a quote form link for each carrier, reading carrier replies.

Your catalog
All four outputs read the same case data. You keep it in one place.
- Add products by hand: SKU, name, case pack, case size, case weight.
- Handling: this side up, stackable or not, maximum load on top.
- CSV import and export with a downloadable template and a line-by-line error report.
- Units: in/lb or cm/kg, for entry and for reading plans.

- Any order documentRead other PDFs, scans and exports with AI, with a screen to correct what it read.
- Automatic quote requestsSend RFQs from Tiercube, with a quote form link for each carrier.
- IntegrationsPull orders from Cin7, Shopify and QuickBooks.
- EU and Turkey freightLoading meters and pallet places instead of NMFC class.
