Same order. Same pallet. Whoever is on shift.

One order in. Pallets, truck load and freight quote out.

Tiercube reads a mixed-SKU B2B order and does the four jobs that follow it, in order: it plans every pallet layer by layer, loads the pallets into a trailer, checks how much of the order fits a container, and writes the freight quote request with an estimated NMFC class.

Pre-launch. A demo uses one of your own orders.

Four guesses between the order and the dock.

A B2B order with ten or twenty SKUs, two to eight cases each, in boxes of every size. Someone guesses how to stack it, someone guesses whether it fits the truck, and someone re-types it all into a quote request.

  • The pallet is built from memory.Light cases end up under heavy ones and boxes hang over gaps. Only a few people know how, and new hires learn by rebuilding.
  • The pallet count is a guess. You find out it needed a second pallet after the first one is wrapped.
  • The truck is checked at the dock.Whether the order fits one trailer, and whether weight, floor or height runs out first, shows up when the loader runs out of room.
  • The quote request is re-typed.Pallet sizes and weights go into an email by hand, the freight class is a guess, and the quote was for a different load.

Pallet plan

Every layer planned before anyone lifts a case.

How many pallets, and how to build every layer: heavy cases at the bottom, no case over a gap. A typical order is planned in under a second, and the same order always gives the same plan.

  1. Load the order

Drop in the sales order PDF or type the lines in by case. Each line is matched to your catalog: case pack, case size, case weight. Lines that don't add up are flagged, never skipped.

Reads Cin7 Sale Quote and Sales Order PDFs today. Other documents: on the roadmap.

  2. Check the plan

You get the pallet count and every layer of every pallet with height and weight. Rotate the 3D view, then drag the slider to build it one layer at a time.

Pallet over 3,000 lb or too tall? Another pallet is opened instead.

  3. Print the build cards

One A4 page per pallet for the wrap station. Each layer is drawn from above with every case labeled and counted, so the person building it doesn't need a screen.

  1. Tier 1: nine cases of the heaviest product, olive oil, cover the pallet deck.
    19 cases, 252 lb
  2. Tier 2: nine cases of rolled oats on top of tier 1.
    29 cases, 205 lb
  3. Tier 3: nine cases of trail mix.
    39 cases, 144 lb
  4. Tier 4: nine cases of paper towels, the lightest, on top.
    49 cases, 77 lb

Truck load

Know what fits one trailer before it reaches the dock.

The pallets you just planned go straight onto a trailer floor. No re-typing dimensions into another spreadsheet.

  • 53' and 48' trailersDry van presets, or type in the inside length, width, height and door height of any trailer, including a reefer.
  • Pallets turned to fit48×40 pallets are turned so two sit side by side: 30 of them fit on the floor of a 53' van.
  • Weight and door height checkedTotal payload against the trailer's limit, and every pallet against the door opening. It is a payload check, not an axle-weight calculation.
  • How many more fitWhen the order fits, see how many more pallets or cases the space that's left can take. When it doesn't, drop what doesn't fit from the order.

Container load

See how much of the order one container takes.

Export and import loads go by container, often without pallets. Load the planned pallets or the loose cases and get the share of the order that fits.

  • 20', 40' and 40' high cubePreset inside dimensions and door heights, editable to match the box you are sent.
  • Palletized or floor-loadedLoad this order's pallets, or put the cases straight on the container floor, heavy cases at the bottom.
  • How much of the order fitsThe share of the order that fits one container, and what runs out first: weight, floor or height.
  • Change the order, check againRemove lines that don't fit or add cases to fill the space, then run the check again.

Engine output for the 30 pallets in the truck example (48×40 in, 60 in tall, 1,600 lb each). At 60 in they can't stack two high under a container roof, so the floor runs out before the weight does.

Freight quote request

The load summary is already in the plan. Tiercube turns it into a request your carriers can price, then helps you pick a reply.

  • Load summaryPallet count, each pallet's size and weight including the board, stackability, total weight, volume and density.
  • Estimated NMFC classFrom density on the 2025 NMFC density scale. The request says it is an estimate; the billed class can differ.
  • Request email to your own carriersCopy it or open it in your email app and send it from your own address. Automatic sending is on the roadmap.
  • Cheapest, fastest, best valueLog each reply's rate, transit days and validity. Quotes are ranked side by side; best value weighs price 70% and transit time 30%, shown on screen.

Rules, not suggestions

Every case on every layer is checked against these. When an order can't be stacked within them, Tiercube opens another pallet instead of bending a rule.

Weight and height limits are settings, so you can match your racks, trailers and customers' dock requirements. The heavy-down and support rules stay on.

15%

Heavy cases at the bottom

Layers are built heaviest first. A layer's average case can't be more than 15% heavier than the layer under it.

¼

No case over a gap

At most a quarter of any case's base may sit over empty space. Light products can drop to a lower layer to fill a hole.

3,000lb

Weight per pallet

Pallet board included. Default, adjustable.

68.9in

Target stack height

It may go up to 3.9 in higher only when that saves opening a pallet for one layer, and the plan says so.

0in over

No overhang

Cases stay 0.8 in inside the pallet edge, 0.4 in when space is tight.

Built for the floor, not just the office

Same order, same plan
The planner is deterministic. Run an order twice, on any shift, and you get the identical pallet, case for case.
Under a second
A typical mixed order is planned before you finish reading the summary. Change a quantity and it re-plans.
One product stays together
On mixed layers, cases of the same SKU sit side by side so they are easy to count and check.
This side up
Cases turn flat on the floor only, never on their side. Liquids and pumps stay upright.
Warnings with the line number
Missing case sizes, quantities that don't fill whole cases, too much weight on a carton: flagged with the order line they came from.
Inches or centimeters
Enter and read everything in in/lb or cm/kg. Your catalog converts both ways.

Draft pricing

Pay for pallets planned. The floor team is free.

A pallet counts once, for the order it was planned for. Re-planning, truck loads and freight quote requests don't count. Pickers, loaders and supervisors never need a paid seat.
